Takes a Village to Make a Cocktail - Meet our Makers for Crafted Taste
Founded byÂ
Nicholas Kosevich and Ira Koplowitz in 2009, Bittercube Bitters are shipped nationwide and created in Milwaukee, WI, by hand with real botanicals. No pre-made extracts or flavors are used in their slow-crafted products.
Check out their fantastic Bolivar Bitters in our Man's Best Friend Kit. They also make cocktail cedars that we proudly use in our Scotch Kiss Cocktail Kit. |
Morris Kitchen creates unique, artisanal cocktail mixers and syrups that are inspired by the company roots in Brooklyn, NY. |
Â
Based on Orcas Island in beautiful San Juan, WA. Audra's dedication to her heirloom orchards, that are the source for her products, is evident in all her offerings. We love their shrubs and bitters and they make outstanding jams and preserves, too! Try their Ruby Spiced Apple Shrub in our Salted Caramel Apple Sour. |
Handmade in Paso Robles, CA, we use Yes Cocktail Co. Syrups and Tonics because of their commitment to using 100% all natural fruit, herbs, botanicals and spices. Â
Our Modern Martini Kit includes a bottle of their Superbloom Tonic for incredible G & T's. |
Based in Portland, OR, Portland Syrups is another example of ethical manufacturing from the cocktail community. They dedicate their business to responsible sourcing and producing and we love supporting their business. Try the Hibiscus Cardamon Syrup in our Lusty Lady Cocktail Kit or the Citrus Passion Syrup in our Little Violeta. |

Happy Dogs and The Salty Dog Cocktail
As more of us are working from home, our unexpected challenges are a win-win for our loyal pets. Why not toast our pooches with the classic cocktail, The Salty Dog? Your basic Salty Dog is a combo of Vodka or Gin, grapefruit juice and rimmed with salt. Easy and primed for lots of variations.Â
Here are some other dog worthy libations:
The Salty Chihuaha - the SD, but made with Tequila
The Greyhound - the SD, but no salt
The Bloodhound - equal parts gin, sweet vermouth, and dry vermouthÂ
The Pomeranian - pomegranate, vodka, grapefruit, honey
Try out our favorite dog cocktails, The Man's Best Friend, The Salty Hound and The Astra Collins, all featured in our Man's Best Friend Cocktail Kit.

A Dash of Bitters, to Make it Better - Try these Incredible Brands in Your Next Cocktails
The use of bitters has exploded and no longer are your only choices the standard Angostura.  These flavored extracts, made from infusing herbs, seeds, bark, roots, flowers and berries with alcohol, were originally created in the 1800's for medicinal purposes but now, they are sought after by cocktail mixologists. Remember, the liquid is highly concentrated, which is why you need only a few dashes in those mixed drinks.
When you use them, buy the best. The nuances of a high end bitter can make a ho-hum cocktail, the best drink you ever had.
